Meet Isabella.

Isabella Innis is an abstract artist living in Los Angeles, CA. Born in Nashville, Isabella began pursuing her practice after graduating college in 2012. While she began working in both figuration and abstraction, she later pursued abstraction as a way to focus on intuition over intention. Her unique form of abstraction using acrylic, pastel and charcoal is incredibly free - often complex in composition and color, but in clear pursuit of art for art’s sake.

Inspired by media from interior design to music, each stroke is lyrical and raw, flowing across the canvas in a colorful meditation. Her work has so much character as it’s difficult to tell what was intended or a surprise, releasing the viewer from a rigid way of looking and finding meaning.
