I have always found myself deeply immersed in the arts and surrounded by artists. Growing up overseas, visual arts fundamentally shaped my understanding of how cultures connect, histories are understood, and patterns of thought challenged. As a professional with nearly a decade working in the art world, I have a well-rounded viewpoint of how artists thrive within their own studios as well as within art institutions, such as galleries and museums. My professional background is highly varied and includes Fidelity’s corporate art collection, commercial and non-profit galleries, and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.

While working as a Studio Manager for a widely recognized artist, Riley Sheehey, I leveraged my professional, organizational, and analytical skills as well as my art world experience to manage the business operations in a way that is both thoughtfully structured and intentionally goal oriented. This opportunity to work within a small business and provide more bandwidth for an artist to create work is incredibly rewarding and a culmination of my strengths and passions.

I founded CD Arts Management as a way to continue to connect with artists and help build sustainable, balanced, and successful art businesses. As a business manager, my priority will always be to keep an artist’s goals and art practice at the heart of their business. By outsourcing the daily and project-based operations of the studio, it is my goal to create as much freedom as possible for an artist to develop their practice and continue making art.

Based in Washington, DC, I am currently working with clients locally and remotely.
