Meet Marcy.

Based in Fredericksburg, Texas, artist Marcy Cook spent six years as a floral designer before becoming an artist full time. Using a mixture of collage and painting (often incorporating spray painting), Marcy creates compositions that feel highly realistic while never loosing that painterly quality.

Her intimate knowledge of natural forms is incredibly evident in her work - but it’s her artistic response of fracturing light and movement to create something wholly new that makes her work so magnetic. By toeing the line between abstraction and realism, Marcy achieves a contemporary take on the still life compositions of ages past.
